High Temperature Alloy Machining

Date

February 2024 - Present

𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰
This project aimed to branch out into matching new types of materials. Up to the point of beginning this project, I had only worked with aluminum and brass. Although these materials met the requirements of my previous projects, I wanted to push myself further and learn more about designing and manufacturing with new materials that were notorious for being difficult to work with.

Though these tests were not machining parts for any particular assembly they served as a test bed for honing my machine skills so that I could incorporate new materials into my future designs.
